Abstracts

An abstract painting is made with your lifetime’s experience of looking; of noticing the way light falls on the human figure, how it lights up a tree, the shapes and patterns of leaves, of buildings, reflections on water - anything that catches you momentarily and then lodges in your brain’s visual library. These come back to me as abstract snapshots, like a flipbook of memories.

However your memory is unique to you and so your interpretation will be different to mine. You will connect in a completely personal way. I find this idea really lovely!
